Generate Financial Statements

Congratulations, you've reached the final step in the process: generating financial statements.

I. Start generating reports

II. Wait for report generation to complete

The report generation time is related to the number of transactions. The more transactions, the longer the possible generation time. During the report generation process, the current progress will be displayed on the page. You don't need any other operations, just wait patiently.

III. Data error alerts

After the report is generated, we will automatically detect the report data. If there are more basic errors in the report, relevant prompts will be displayed on the page to remind you that there may be errors in the report. At this time, you need to check the transaction again.

Examples of common mistakes:

  • Balance Sheet account balance is negative

  • Cash Flow Statement Opening and closing balances are negative

  • Restrictions of Crypto Assets Table shows negative numbers

  • Negative balances at the beginning and end of the Crypto Assets Roll Forward Statement

IV. Common reasons for report errors

  1. Balance Sheet, negative numbers appear in assets and liabilities items:

    • Data missing: incomplete data sources may lead to some asset inflow (or liability increase) transactions not being recorded.

    • Incorrect category setting: Some asset inflow (or liability increase) transactions are mistakenly categorized as other activities.

  2. Cash Flow Statement, negative numbers appear in the begin and end balances:

    • Data missing: incomplete data sources may lead to some cash inflow transactions not being recorded.

    • Incorrect category setting: Some cash inflow transactions are mistakenly identified as other activities, leading to underestimation of recorded cash inflow; some other transactions are mistakenly identified as cash outflows, leading to overestimation of recorded cash outflow.

  3. Restrictions of Crypto Assets, negative numbers appear in the encrypted asset items:

    • Data missing: incomplete data sources may cause some asset inflow transactions not to be recorded.

    • Incorrect category setting: Some crypto assets inflow transactions are mistakenly identified as other activities; or some other transactions are mistakenly identified as crypto assets outflows.

  4. Crypto Assets Roll Forward, negative numbers appear in the beginning and end balances:

    • Data missing: incomplete data sources may lead to some crypto assets inflow transactions not being recorded.

    • Incorrect category setting: Some crypto assets inflow transactions are mistakenly identified as other business activities, causing the recorded crypto assets inflow to be smaller than the actual inflow; some other transactions are mistakenly identified as crypto assets outflows, causing the recorded crypto assets outflow to be larger than the actual outflow.

  5. Significant Holdings, errors appear in the cost basis:

    • Due to data missing or category setting, some crypto assets have situations where the outflow quantity exceeds the balance quantity, making the cost basis impossible to calculate.
