How to Verify Transaction Data with Account Balances

  • You can enter the balance of an account to verify the accuracy of transaction data. On the “Account” page, select the account for which you want to enter the balance, choose the currency, and input the account balance obtained from a third-party source.

  • Elven uses the balance data you enter to verify the transaction data, checking whether it matches the entered balance.

  • On the transaction management page, you will see that if the transaction data matches the balance, it will be marked as having completed balance verification. If there is a mismatch, it will be marked as balance verification failed. Transactions that cannot be verified, such as the most recent ones, will be marked as unverified.

  • You can focus on handling data that failed the balance verification to pinpoint and resolve issues.

  • You can also import balance data by uploading a CSV file. On the “Account” page, click on the account into which you want to import the balance, select “Add Data,” and upload a CSV file containing the account balance data. Elven will recognize and import the balance information into the account balance records.

  • Every time you enter or import balance data, Elven automatically verifies the transaction data, helping you to identify and locate data issues.
