# Getting started with Elven

Elven helps you simplify cryptocurrency transaction bookkeeping, generate financial reports, and sync transaction data with traditional financial software. To help you get started for free, here are the steps to set up your Elven account:

### **Create Your Account**

1. Go to [app.elven.com](https://app.elven.com/) or click "Get Started" on the Elven homepage.
2. Enter your email address or sign up using your Google account to receive a one-time passcode.

### Create your first project

Enter details in the required fields&#x20;

Click on "Create Project" and your first project is now ready!
